so it’s been quite some time since my last post and a lot has gone on recently.
I went to Disney at the beginning of November and had a blast; since then I’ve seen Paul Oakenfold and Tiesto within a week of eachother…. totally amazing. check out my facebook for pictures on that.
Thanksgiving came and went, I had an awesome dinner with the woman who makes my heart beat and her family and still have leftovers! lol.
Now i’m back at work, thinking of that someone special wondering if things will continue to get better in my life… if they do, I’m ready for the future! it’ll be an awesome one!

So I understand I’ve been on hiatus; yet I am also realizing that I don’t have much of a reader-base… so who the hell am I apologizing to? myself? most likely.
Anyways, So I recently moved to a new house in Tampa Shores… it’s an amazing little house with a hot tub and a boat lift and dock. Four bedrooms and 2 bathrooms with a large kitchen. I now live with 3 of the best roommates a dude like myself could ask for.. no drama… no issues… and no nagging GF! HOORAY!

The Church-man’s life is on a high, and I’m enjoying every minute of it… I’ll enjoy it more once i’m able to save up some money; initial moving expenses always suck!

Here I am, on my lunch break… Making my first post in little under/over a week. I do apologize to those of you who actually read my blog… which I don’t think there are many as I have absolutely NO COMMENTS… WTF People… where’s my social interaction???? LOL!

Anyways, I’ve been quite sick since last week, finally am to the point where I’ve cleared most of the phlegm from my lungs and am able to kick ass and take names again. This weekend I’ll be moving into my new home, it’s not far from my current place, which is good; I just hope I’m able to get it all done this weekend so I don’t have to bust ass for another weekend, next weekend.

In the news:
How about that Matt Garza? First No-Hitter in Tampa Bay Rays franchise history… that was an amazing game!
It’s definitely rainy season in Florida; the afternoon thunderstorms we’ve had the past few days have been righteous! with hail and everything… quite a spectacle.
Additionally, I heard LiveNation is doing $10 Aerosmith and Blue Oyster Cult tickets this week (while supplies last)… I may have to take advantage of this offer.

So I had one hell of a weekend this past one. got to enjoy a bottle of grey goose @ the venue; and then go fishing saturday morning; followed by a beach/boat day @ shepherd’s; though the ride home on the boat in the cold rain from shepherd’s is probably what made me sick with this upper respiratory + sinus infection. I’ve missed the past 2 days of work due to being absolutely miserable and fighting this hell of a fever I have.
Though, all is still peachy! Found out this afternoon that I have a new place to live officially!
Boat Lift + Hot Tub here I come!!!!!

Well that’s it for my brief post; I will elaborate in a future post, but I must be headed to bed to get some rest for a big day at work tomorrow!!

So today, was just another day at the office… I did feel better than I did yesterday and got quite a bit more accomplished as well.

Tonight I’ll be headed to The Venue in St. Pete to party my ass off @ ladies night. Managed to swing a Bottle of Goose and VIP entry; can’t wait! (i’ll post pics tomorrow)

Lastly, I’ll be going fishing tomorrow AM w/ Luke; probably hung over as all hell too! but who cares?! IT’S THE WEEKEND!!!!!!!

The Fray – Never Say Never

So besides feeling like complete and utter dog shit today; I did have a very productive day at the office!

Honestly when I woke up; I didn’t even want to go to work because how bad I felt; and still feel… UGH!

So recently I was tasked with creating new pages on the company’s website; in the process of creating a game plan; I came across a problem. “My WordPress Theme only has 1 sidebar set up on it; how can I create a new sidebar?”.

Well I downloaded a few plugins that said they could accomplish what I’m looking for; but the end result was not what I had intended; let alone, the plugin was VERY buggy! So I turned to my trusty pal Google to find the solution for me. After searching I found what I was looking for on BlogOhBlog! Though now I have my new sidebar which was what I wanted to accomplish; now all the widgets I place in Sidebar2 are also showing up on all of my pages. So in turn I came to the conclusion that I needed to create a new page template so that I could apply this custom sidebar I was creating to that particular template. I found what I was looking for on SEO Gadget with a little customization I was able to accomplish my goal.

In addition to the above, I also installed the plugin Widget Logic which will allow me to assign specific plugins per page or post within each sidebar created using WP Conditional Tags.

After all was said and done; I accomplished my goal and now have a foundation set up for the work I need to do tomorrow; as well as new knowledge that I can apply to other projects to make them better as well! EXCITING!

I love learning new things; it makes me feel stronger!
